FAQ

Common questions

What is the most common pallet size?

The 48×40 inch GMA pallet is the standard for grocery and most general freight in the United States. We build it every week along with 48×45, 48×48, 45×45, 42×42 and 40×40.

Can you build a size that isn't on your list?

Yes. We can build any size a company needs. Send us the length, width, load weight and how it will be handled and we will quote it.

Do you build with hardwood or softwood?

Both. We choose soft or hardwood to match how the pallet will be used, including load weight, racking and how many trips it needs to make.

What's the difference between a stringer and a block pallet?

A stringer pallet rides on three long boards and usually allows two-way forklift entry, or four-way with notches. A block pallet sits on nine blocks and gives true four-way entry, which suits pallet jacks and automated lines.

Do you deliver new pallets?

Yes. We load and unload within roughly 100 miles of Kendallville. Beyond that we can load your truck at our yard.

Need pallets this week?

Send us your size, quantity and delivery address. We'll quote new, recycled or custom and tell you what's in stock now.
